Can A Sugar Baby Be Too Young?!

Always have someone watching your back. If you're new to all of this, you're going to be meeting many strangers and probably frequently till you find the right SD for you. Be careful! I'm not saying drag a buddy along on a date, but let a trust friend know what's going on. Your "look out" should know where you are going, what time, and who you are meeting. Call or shoot your "look out" a text when you leave for a date with a new POT, and have her text or call you in 20-45 minutes to make sure everything is smooth sailing. Have a plan for when things are uncomfortable or you just need to get out of that situation gracefully. If you don't have your own ride, make sure your "look out" is available to scoop you up if your sugary situation goes sour. How about we DON'T end up like the chick that disappeared in Aruba.

Sugary Updates

Right now I have a few new POTs who haven't set much up and communicate so inconsistently, I'm not even sure how to categorize them.

Introducing Mr. Flavor. I named him that because I love how he likes women of color :) He called today and I really vibed with him on the phone. I like him. He's funny, easy to talk to, down to earth, and easy going. Hopefully he confirms our date for tomorrow and we can explore a new restaurant together. He gets bonus points for not being pervy :) I'll discuss my financial expectations over dinner and see how they align up with his budget. I'm shooting for at least $2k, so I'm going to use my amazing bartering skills. Wish me luck!

Captain: He will be back in town this weekend! I miss him even though he shot down my allowance. Hopefully we can pack up for a day trip and head out to a beach or amusement park…then of course do some much need shopping! I need fall clothes and work clothes…not to mention my iPhone 4…but I heard rumors that the iPhone 5 might be released next month.

So I messaged a young POT on SA.com showing interest. He writes back and says:

"You're hot, but you're too young."

Okay ladies, I've gotten a few of these responses from guys who are in their 60's…this nicca is 32. No boo…you're a little young for me hahaha. I have not had any good luck with young POTs, but me being too young? That's a first. We're only 7 years apart. I responded with sarcasm…but he's probably just a waste of my time with excuses like that. He's probably only saying I'm too young, but he really means that he can't afford the $2k-$5k expected allowance that's in my profile. Onto the next one!

I'm trying not to let this who SB thing turn me materialistic…but these are SO PRETTY! :D Sugar cash is so addicting…its the easiest money I've ever made. I was only planning on doing the SB thing for a year…but my mind has already begun plotting on how I'm going to get sugar cash to buy a house. I even toyed with the idea of having an SD even when I'm married. I mean my husband would know about it, and it shouldn't be a big deal as long as I'm only going on occasional dates that don't involve sexual contact. It's almost like hostessing in Japan. That's what men are doing right now…paying for my company and conversation…tax free Benjamins!

Hold your SDs and POTs accountable for their actions. If a man treats you poorly and you just suck it up and let him keep doing it…don't complain. You just gave him permission to continue those actions. Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself. If a guy that lives far away keeps standing you up, make him come to you, or he doesn't see you at all. If a guy touches you in a way that disgusts you, tell him to knock it off. Sugar babies may have to make sacrifices, but your self respect shouldn't be one of them.

Sugary Updates

I have a new POT, Mr. Geek Squad who keeps calling me while I'm at work. Like forreal? I have a day job lol…you must be married if you can call me in the evening. I'd like to get to know him, but we keep playing phone tag. I don't know much about him yet or what he looks like. He's in the computer/IT field and a business owner. It would be nice to find another SD for an additional income…I know it sounds greedy, but I better strike the iron while its hot!

I went shopping today! :) It would've been better if I went with my gift daddy, but I went alone. I need some new work clothes and some comfortable flats to wear too. Even though I'm an office manager, the attire is very casual. I can get away with a pair of really nice jeans and a semi-dressy top. I hit up some of my favorite stores: Forever 21, 5-7-9, Papaya, Charlotte Russe, and H&M.

I bought a bunch of cute stuff. I'm really feeling animal prints, neon colors, and natural fabrics. I really love the Big Buddha boat shoes that I bought. They are so comfy and look fashionable even though they are quite casual. Perfect for running around in the office!

4 Things you should learn about a SD POT. Ok this tip is a request from another SB! She wanted to know somethings that she should talk to a SD POT about when getting to know him that will be advantageous information for her evaluating him. Here are some things that I ask POTs and why:

(1) What kind of work does he do? Does he own a company, have an executive position, or is he a worker bee? How intensive is his work schedule? Does it involve business trips? - I ask these questions because many SDs claim to make a lot of money…but "a lot" is relative. I want to assess whether he can afford the type of arrangement I'm looking for. I also want to know if he's going to be available to see me several times a month, or only once or twice.

(2) Is he married? - I simply want to know because married men typically can't spend a great deal of time in the evenings or on weekends because they have their wives and families to attend to. That can be great because he won't be smothering me. (That's just my take on it)

(3) Has he had a SB before? - This gives me an idea of whether he is used to these types of relationships and the spoiling process. Newbies may not quite know how to go about it, but could be great SDs with coaching :)

(4) What type of arrangement is he looking for and what is his budget for spoiling? - I learned quickly that this NEEDS to be brought up early on. Is this guy going to be on the same page as you? What did he have in mind in the first place before you put your expectations out there. If he wants a hot young girl to fuck in exchange for $300/mo…no need in wasting my time when I want 10x that amount just to be seen with him :P

Those are just some of the key things I ask…I could care less if he likes horror films and chinese food lol. What are some of the key things you all ask early on when getting to know a POT that help you determine whether or not he's got SD potential?

I had my first day at work as Mr. Yacht's office manager. The job is actually way more intensive than he made it sound. There is so much for me to learn and keep track of. I had no idea that on top of payroll, managing client files, taking customer service calls, assigning contractor's work, and processing invoices…I have to make sure the company's bills get paid on time, manage the company's lines of credits and bank accounts, and make sure the taxes get paid on time. I guess once I get the hang of it, it won't be a big deal…but yeah if I have trouble making sure I pay my 4 bills on time each month…what makes him think I can make sure the 50 some odd bills his company has will get paid on time LOL. He better set up automatic debit!

Otherwise, my first day was good. I only work half a day because I'm still finishing my last week at my other job. Mr. Yacht was kind enough to buy me lunch :) My other boss wasn't so kind. Guess she caught wind of my new job via facebook (I originally quit without having anything lined up) and pretty much told me not to come back after today LOL. Whatever hater :P

Sugar Shopping: Free People Wish List

Hello Dolls!

Ok, so I am planning a shopping trip with Captain. I don't know quite what to expect...but there are two things I know:

(1) I better know what I want

(2) I better be direct and make it a short shopping event

Men hate shopping. So I want this to be as much of a positive experience for me as it is for him...that way he's inclined to do it all of the time :P

So I'll take it easy on him the first go around. I want some Free People clothes. Has anyone ever heard of that designer? Super cute stuff, that is perfect for layering. I like it because I don't see everyone rocking it. I gotta stand out ;-*
